
COPS is accepting applications for new members!
Please read the following information prior to applying to COPS. If you do not like the rules or conditions of membership, please do not apply. Incomplete applications will not be accepted.
- Membership does not guarantee inclusion on every investigation. We assign investigators on an as-needed and as-available basis.
- You cannot bring non-members to an investigation.
- COPS maintains a strict policy on client confidentiality. You may never reveal client information or investigative details outside of COPS.
- You are to be respectful of our clients and their property at all times.
- You may not investigate while under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
- While representing COPS, you are expected to conduct yourself in a professional manner.
- Applicants must pass a background check.
Three roles are currently available and can/will be combined depending on applicants and level of interest.
- Investigator: Attend cases, collect and review evidence, share and report findings.
- Researcher: Review property deeds, birth/death records, historical data. Review evidence and investigate as able/needed.
- Case Manager/Coordinator: Interview clients, prioritize cases, schedule cases and follow-ups. Review evidence and investigate as able/needed.
